Never be shy to show us inspo photos! One of the funniest things we see—whether with new or long-time clients—is the long, thoughtful verbal description of a haircut they’re tempted to try… finally, we ask for inspiration photos and boom—they’ve got a whole album ready. Don’t hesitate to show us photos, even if the person doesn’t look like you. It helps us understand the vibe you’re going for, so we can ask the right questions and take it from there.

EARLY BIRDS GET THE WORM

Life gets busy -we totally get it! It may not always be a priority, but particularly when you have a transformation cut, or some serious pruning to do, a hairdresser loves nothing more than to have the full allotted time to work their magic, or even a few minutes early if possible. We know that sometimes we tend to run late, and we truly never mean it, but we are just trying to give our very best to each and every person that visits. It may seem like a double standard at times, but to truly get the best out of your stylist, please try to be on time for both your sake, ours, and others :)

HAIR LINGO 101

Tik-Tok and other social media outlets have been a huge ally to hairdressers by making people more aware than ever about what’s possible for their hair. It educates you, helps you step outside your comfort zone, and gives your mind possibilities you’ve never considered… BUT, remember that sometimes a professional hairdresser and a tik-tok influencers lingo is very different, so please don’t feel silly for using different terms than we do. It’s our most important job to hear your needs.
